There are so many Larabar flavors… but which are Whole30 approved Larabars?!

When you’re doing a Whole30, it can be hard to know what the heck to eat when you’re on the go… Larabars are a great resource!! (also known as an “emergency food”) But the distinction of when you can and can’t eat them (when Larabars are Whole30 Approved and when they’re not…) can be super duper confusing! So I’m here to help with a super clear list of which Larabars are Whole30 approved!

So why ARE Larabars a good option when you’re reaching for something on the go? Well, their only ingredients are dried fruits and nuts. When you look at the ingredients, they’re all easily recognizable and you can pronounce them all! That’s a great start, right? 🙂

So where does the caveat come in…? The caveat is that these are as close as you can get to Whole30 candy. When is it ok to have a Larabar? You’re stuck somewhere [fill in the blank here with a million examples] with a Larabar in your bag…. When should you NOT eat a Larabar? If you’re craving a Snickers bar, don’t eat a Larabar. They should never be used to satisfy a sugar craving. They’re also not a treat or dessert. Your sugar dragon will be alive and roaring to go if you use Larabars in this manner.

Even with that caveat, not all Larabars are Whole30 compliant. Here is a handy list of Whole30 Approved Larabars for you! Enjoy, friends!
