And if you think sunflower oil sounds good, then you better think again. These highly processed oils and fats, typically from seeds, are everywhere – and they’re bad for your health too! So how do we avoid them?

Our guest today, Dr. Anthony Gustin, has fully dived into the world of seed oils. Today, he explains what seed oils are and why they’re so unhealthy for us.

Dr. Gustin is the founder of Perfect Keto and Equip Foods. He is the host of The Natural State Podcast and author of the bestselling book Keto Answers. A former sports rehab clinician turned entrepreneur, Dr. Gustin really has launched several businesses and he is now an amateur farmer. Trained in functional medicine, he has ordered labs and set treatment plans for hundreds of patients. 

In 2017, Dr. Gustin founded Perfect Keto to make the ketogenic diet accessible both from a product perspective of sticking to it, as well as content information. Since then, he has published over 1,000 articles and 75 podcasts, and written a book, solving problems and making the keto diet easy to do.
