Just the thought of managing a homestead, homeschooling kids, and running a business can be pretty overwhelming. But our guest today is practically excelling in all these three areas. In this episode, we chat with Emilie Toups and how she manages to homestead at her home, homeschool her four kids, and run an awesome business, Toups and Co Organics.

Emilie shares the origin story of Toups and Co Organics that started with her beautiful daughter and her eczema. Using regenerative agriculture products, Toups and Co believes that skincare products that nourish and restore can come from simple, wholesome ingredients.

Emilie also talks about what it’s like to be using seven acres of land that includes a decent sized in-ground garden, six big raised garden beds, and a greenhouse that is yet to be put together. After years of gardening, Emilie now feels confident that she can manage a garden in an organic way. And not only is it fun, but it’s also beneficial to her entire family.

In this episode, learn more about some gardening and homestead ideas and how you don’t have to be using herbicides and pesticides to grow your produce because nature works – so you just have to take advantage of it. Plus, did you know that cows intuitively know what minerals they need? Learn more about these from today’s conversation!
