According to the National Institute of Health, 30.7% of adults are overweight, 42.4% of adults have obesity, and 9.2% have severe obesity. This means 82.3% of American adults are not metabolically healthy.

We’ve also been sold this lie over and over that in order to lose weight, all we have to do is eat less and exercise more. But it’s not just about diet or exercise. Long-term habit changes make all the difference. Your weight could also be a sign of something else deeper going on. And so, it’s basically a congruence of things.

In today’s episode, Cynthia Mathes, my personal health coach and weight loss coach, joins us to talk about the best ways to lose weight – naturally!

Cynthia offers a completely new and fresh perspective to this conversation. Aside from being a Master Primal Health Coach and Toxin and Detox Specialist, Cynthia holds several certifications in functional nutrition, weight loss, root cause illness, and functional labs, to name a few. As the founder of Cynthia Mathes Wellness, Cynthia helps overweight women with chronic symptoms begin healing so they can lose weight and keep it off for good.

In this episode, you will hear:

  • The truth about crash diets and weight loss pills
  • The importance of root cause protocol in weight loss
  • The phases of weight loss and how they work together
  • Mindset makes up 90% of the journey.
  • Why intermittent fasting should only be used as a tool
  • How to deal with adrenal fatigue
  • How we can support our bodies during menopause
